The Holy Innocents

The Feast of the Holy Innocents is celebrated on Dec. 28, within the Octave of Christmas, which lasts from Christmas Day to January 1. The liturgy that day reflects both sorrow for the deaths of the infant boys who were killed by King Herod, but also the joy they share in the glory of Christ's victory over evil. Father Chris Alar, MIC, explains.
