Who is the Antichrist?

One figure that strikes fear into the hearts of many Christians is the Antichrist. We know that he will work deceptive miracles and be a leader in the great apostasy spoken of in the Bible, persuasive and powerful while hating all things Christian. Father Chris Alar, MIC, explains that we will be given special graces as disciples of Christ to combat this evil. Then revisit the story of Zachary King, once deep in the world of darkness, but now living proof that even the most hardened heart can be redeemed by God’s love.

Watch Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and the Marian Fathers and Brothers from the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy on our weekly show, "Living Divine Mercy," airing on EWTN every Thursday at 10 pm ET, with an encore presentation on Mondays at 9:00 am ET.  Through teaching segments, Bible and St. Faustina Diary excerpts, as well as real-life examples of people who are living Divine Mercy in their lives, you will learn why Jesus said Divine Mercy is mankind's last hope of salvation!

What is the Ark of the Covenant? When was it built and by whom? Why was it built and what was it used for? Fr. What makes the Catholic Church different from all other religions of the world is the Sacraments. Baptism impresses the Christian character in the soul, allowing the other sacraments. Baptism is necessary for salvation for all those to whom the Gospel has been proclaimed. Fr. Chris Alar explains why this is so, mainly because it confers the first sanctifying grace and the supernatural virtues of faith, hope, and charity. Also, he explains why baptizing infants is actually in the Bible and is something that was done by Christians since the very beginning of the Church.
