America 250

The 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America is an incredible landmark event that commemorates our nation, our history, and our religion. Of course, the theme of every Independence Day is always freedom. But have you ever stopped to think, what kind of freedom are we actually celebrating? Father Chris Alar, MIC, explains.

Then watch the first episode of a four-part series called “The Marian Route to USA 250: One Nation Under God's Mercy,” hosted by Fr. Mark Baron, MIC, to show how devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary actually influenced the founding and expansion of the United States of America.
