Thanksgiving and the Eucharist

On Thanksgiving, we pause to give thanks to the good Lord for His countless blessings, for the gift of faith, for family and friends, and above all, for the gift of His Son in the Eucharist. The word “Eucharist” means “thanksgiving” in Greek, and every Mass we attend is the perfect act of thanksgiving.
