St. Thérèse’s Little Way of Trust and Dependence on God | Fr. Mark Baron, MIC

Fr. Mark explained that this experience helps us understand the heart of Thérèse’s Little Way: our relationship with God is rooted in dependence. Like children, we are called to trust Him completely. Dependency on God is not weakness, it is where true strength is found. When we fail, struggle, or feel small, God does not abandon us. He loves us in our weakness and always gives us the grace to begin again.

Mark reminds us that the season is not only about remembering Israel’s longing for the Messiah, nor only about anticipating Christ’s Second Coming—it's about recognizing how He comes to us right now. And for that, we need two essential forms of knowledge: knowledge of God and knowledge of ourselves.
