St. Rita of Cascia

The feast day of St. Rita of Cascia is May 22. Hers was a late vocation, a mother and widow who became an Augustinian nun. Father Chris Alar, MIC, shares her remarkable story and reveals why St. Rita is the patroness of abused wives, heartbroken children, and impossible causes. Then meet Nicole LeBlanc, a mother who faced an unthinkable challenge during her pregnancy, one that tested her commitment to life and trust in God's plan.

Watch Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and the Marian Fathers and Brothers from the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy on our weekly show, "Living Divine Mercy," airing on EWTN every Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, with an encore presentation on Mondays at 9:00 a.m. ET. Through teaching segments, Bible and St. Faustina Diary excerpts, as well as real-life examples of people who are living Divine Mercy in their lives, you will learn why Jesus said Divine Mercy is mankind's last hope of salvation!
