Our Lady of Walsingham

In 1061, Richeldis, a widow in Little Walsingham in Norfolk, England, prayed to Our Lady asking how she could honor her in some special way. Mary led Richeldis in spirit to Nazareth and showed her the House of the Annunciation, and asked that she build one just like it in Walsingham. Father Chris Alar, MIC, explains how Walsingham became a major pilgrimage site. Then hear how a personal journey of loss led Kara Palladino to support other mothers experiencing a heartbreaking cross of their own.

Watch Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and the Marian Fathers and Brothers from the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy on our weekly show, "Living Divine Mercy," airing on EWTN every Thursday at 10 pm ET, with an encore presentation on Mondays at 9:00 am ET.  Through teaching segments, Bible and St. Faustina Diary excerpts, as well as real-life examples of people who are living Divine Mercy in their lives, you will learn why Jesus said Divine Mercy is mankind's last hope of salvation!

We all know someone who has left the faith and left us heartbroken. But there is hope! With God's grace, the help of the Saints, and your own contribution, their conversion can happen.

When Our Lady presented the Rosary to St. Dominic, she said it would be used as a battering ram against falsehoods, a kind of "spiritual sword." Saint Paul says the Word of God is sharper than any sword, and the Rosary is, after all, the Bible on a set of beads. Join Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC, as he shares his personal testimony of the life-changing power of this devotional prayer. Then be inspired by the story of Joni Seith, as she shows us how prayer and faith help her to persevere amid great suffering.

Hear Fr. Chris Alar explain Church teaching about killing in war and if we can be conscientious objectors. He also explains the connection between the Visitation and Memorial Day, both on May 31.
