In today's teaching, Fr. Mark Baron, MIC reflected on the spirituality of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and her “Little Way.” After losing her mother at a young age and later experiencing the pain of her sister Pauline entering the convent, Thérèse became seriously ill. During that time, she experienced the tender smile of the Blessed Virgin Mary through the statue of Our Lady of Victories. This moment, remembered as her encounter with Our Lady of the Smile, brought healing and revealed to her the maternal tenderness of Mary and the love of God.
