The Feast of Pentecost is celebrated 50 days after Easter and is considered to be the birth of the Church, when the Holy Spirit descended down upon our Blessed Mother Mary and the Apostles, empowering them in their missions to spread the Gospel of Christ to all the ends of the earth.
