In the 1960s, only 4% of Americans chose cremation for their deceased loved ones. Today, that number has increased to a staggering 53%, with projections of up to 83% of people choosing cremation by 2035. 

But does the Catholic Church allow cremation? And if so, why are there so many concerns? Father Chris Alar, MIC, explains.
