Grace and Free Choice

Father Anthony reflects on Romans 9:15–24 — St. Paul’s profound teaching that God’s mercy is a free and undeserved gift, inviting us to trust not in our own merits or accomplishments, but in the loving will of the Lord, who desires to reveal both His justice and His compassion according to His perfect wisdom; even when we struggle to understand God’s plan, question His ways, or wrestle with the mystery of suffering and salvation, we are called to remember that He is the Divine Potter, shaping our lives with purpose, patience, and mercy, so that we may become faithful witnesses to His glory and living signs of His boundless love.
