Choosing Peace Over Retaliation

In today’s homily, Fr. David Gunter, MIC reflects on the Christian call to seek peace, especially when others are not kind to us.
Every day, we meet people who may be impatient, rude, angry, or difficult. But we do not always know what they are carrying. We do not know the pain, fear, stress, wounds, or struggles hidden in their hearts. Peace is a choice, but it is also a grace. We have to ask God for the strength to be patient when our first reaction may be frustration, pride, or retaliation.
May this homily help us ask for the grace to respond with patience, compassion, and trust in God, even in difficult moments.
