Our Lady of Good Remedy

Click for More

Here’s a beautiful devotion to Our Blessed Mother that perhaps you've never heard of: Our Lady of Good Remedy, whose feast is Oct. 8. The devotion dates to the 12th century, when the Trinitarian Order and its founder, St. John de Matha, needed to raise money to set Catholic slaves free. Our Lady came to the rescue in a big way.

Father Mark Baron, MIC, tells the remarkable story and how today Our Lady of Good Remedy can intercede for us to fight misery and afflictions.

Then meet rock-and-roll legend Michael Miley, who turned his life of excess around by following Jesus Christ and His message of Divine Mercy. In his words, “We can have all the riches of the world, but without God, they’re meaningless.”

Today, join Fr. Gabriel Cillo, MIC, as he explains the Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church! Each year, this feast is observed on the Monday after Pentecost Sunday, with the feast being celebrated this year on Monday, May 29, 2023. This explains what you need to know!
Fr. Mark Baron reflects on the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a mystery that the Church invites us to contemplate as a window into God’s infinite love. The Sacred Heart is not merely a symbolic image but the very real human heart of Christ, which beats with divine love for every soul. In His Incarnation, Jesus took on a true human heart, and in doing so He reveals that God is not distant, but near — a God who suffers with us, who loves us personally, and who offers His very self for our salvation.
It's the age-old question, and perhaps one of the biggest misunderstandings of the Catholic faith: Do Catholics really worship Mary, the Mother of God? The short answer: NO! Join Fr. Mark Baron, MIC as he cracks the case and lays out the truth of why Catholics honor Jesus' Mother, Mary, the way they do, and why she plays a vital role in salvation history. Episode 1 of our new series, "Catholic Mythbusters"!
