Fr. Jason will unpack the Church's guidance on alleged apparitions, the theological principles behind discernment of private revelation, and what the faithful should - and should not - take away from this latest development.

In a time when Marian apparitions continue to inspire devotion and debate, it's essential to understand how the Church evaluates such events. Guided by the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 66-67) and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith's criteria, Fr. Jason explains that while public Revelation ended with the death of the last Apostle, private revelations can still help believers live the Gospel more fully - provided they align with the deposit of faith.

Fr. Jason reminds us that authentic Marian apparitions always lead souls to Christ and deeper faithfulness to the Church. As Our Lady said at Cana, "Do whatever He tells you" (John 2:5). Whether or not the Church formally approves a given apparition, the call remains the same: to follow Jesus with purity of heart, obedience, and love.
