Islam: What We Need to Know
Islam: What We Need to Know
In order to better understand Islam, we must understand its mission. Muhammad founded Islam in the year 611 after claiming he received divine revelations through the angel Gabriel. He took some Jewish mythology, some bits of the Gospel, and mixed it all together. So what exactly do many Muslims believe and how does it compare to what we believe as Christians? Father Chris Alar, MIC explains.
Then hear the powerful and inspiring story of Nikki Kingsley who was raised in the Muslim faith, but through the gentle and persistent love of Christ and the maternal guidance of Our Lady, she found her way home to the Catholic Church.

Father Chris Alar, MIC, reminds us of a truth the world constantly tries to obscure: Your soul is immortal — and it matters more than anything you own, achieve, or experience in this life. Jesus asks a question that cuts through every distraction: “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?”
Join Fr. Chris Alar on a recently released video of a parish mission in Pennsylvania, where he explains the concepts and reasons why we should all embrace Marian Consecration. Catholics need to be able to explain this tradition when questioned by non-Catholic friends and family.
