As we celebrate Independence Day, we naturally reflect on the gift of freedom, something so many have fought for and even died to protect. But as Catholics, we know that true freedom goes even deeper than politics or personal rights. Real freedom, explains Fr. Matthew Tomeny, MIC, is choosing what is holy and what leads us closer to God. Then hear the story of Fr. Matthew Pawlikowski, a military chaplain who has spent his life forming soldiers for the battlefield and for spiritual battle.

Watch Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and the Marian Fathers and Brothers from the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy on our weekly show, "Living Divine Mercy," airing on EWTN every Thursday at 10 pm ET, with an encore presentation on Mondays at 9:00 am ET.  Through teaching segments, Bible and St. Faustina Diary excerpts, as well as real-life examples of people who are living Divine Mercy in their lives, you will learn why Jesus said Divine Mercy is mankind's last hope of salvation!
