Why do we get distracted when we pray? Is there anything we can do about it? Fr. Gabe Cillo, MIC, shares some suggestions for how we can win the battle to communicate with our Lord.

Our Lady told the Fatima children that if Russia was consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, a new era of peace would dawn. In 1984 Pope John Paul II consecrated Russia and the world, and as Fr. Joe notes, Communism collapsed within a few years. 

On Nov. 2 of each year, The Catholic Church observes the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, otherwise better known as All Souls' Day. It is on this day that we honor those who have passed on from this life, as we pray that they may be purified before entering into the Kingdom of Heaven! So today, be sure to offer up your prayers for your own departed loved ones, as well as the souls suffering in Purgatory!
