Father Anthony encourages us to partake of the Sacraments of confession, holy communion and prayer to prepare our hearts to receive God’s mercy this Divine Mercy Sunday.
Father Anthony uses the first of the Ten Commandments to explain that “idols” are not always physical objects and that during this Lenten season, we should do an examination of conscience to give up those addictions and bad habits that interfere with our relationship with God.
Father Anthony recommends Psalm 136 as thanksgiving for the natural world created by God and encourages us to pray this when God has freed us from sin.
Father Anthony explains to us that God is always with us and we should strive to know Him better through reading and praying.
