From Pagan Corinth to Secular Culture

Reflecting on St. Paul’s description of believers as “infants in Christ,” Fr. David Gunter reminded us that the struggles faced by the early Church in Corinth are still present today. False teachings, division, confusion, and the influence of secular culture can weaken the faith and prevent Christians from growing into spiritual maturity. Although the Church is now spread throughout the world, many believers still need to learn what it truly means to live as children of God. The chaos and division we see around us reveal how urgently we need deeper conversion, sound teaching, and greater unity in Christ. The Church continues to face a violent spiritual storm, but our response must never be hatred or despair.
