The Nativity of Mary

The birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrated on Sept. 8, marks the dawn of our salvation as God begins to prepare a pure vessel for the coming of His Son. Father Donald Calloway, MIC, reflects more deeply on this beautiful feast, one of only three birthdays observed liturgically on the official Church calendar. Then hear the moving story of a couple who faced the heartbreak of infertility, but through prayer, perseverance, and Natural Family Planning, discovered the beauty of cooperating with God's design.

Watch Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and the Marian Fathers and Brothers from the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy on our weekly show, "Living Divine Mercy," airing on EWTN every Thursday at 10 pm ET, with an encore presentation on Mondays at 9:00 am ET.  Through teaching segments, Bible and St. Faustina Diary excerpts, as well as real-life examples of people who are living Divine Mercy in their lives, you will learn why Jesus said Divine Mercy is mankind's last hope of salvation
