Thousands of faithful gathered at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy for Encuentro Latino 2025, a powerful day of prayer, culture, and community. Saint Teresa of Ávila, a Carmelite nun, Spanish mystic, and now Doctor of the Church, was a prominent figure in the renewal of monastic and spiritual life, helping to reform the Carmelite order and widely known for her work, The Interior Castle. Her feast day is celebrated on October 15.Today on "Saints in Focus," Br.
