God's Greatest Law Is LOVE, Not Rules! Fr. Anthony Gramlich, MIC
In this powerful teaching, Fr. Anthony Gramlich, MIC, reveals why love and mercy must always come before rigid religious rules. Reflecting on Jesus healing a suffering man on the Sabbath, he explains that God's commandments are not simply about following laws but about growing in holiness, showing compassion, and bringing healing to others. Jesus teaches us that relieving someone's suffering is never a violation of God's law; it is the fulfillment of His love.
Fr. Anthony warns against two spiritual dangers: ignoring God's laws and becoming so focused on rules that we forget to love. True holiness lies in living a balanced life of virtue, where mercy triumphs over judgment and compassion guides our actions. God doesn't call us merely to follow rules; He calls us to love as Jesus loves!

Hark! The herald angels sing, glory to the Newborn King!Father Anthony Gramlich, MIC gives us insight behind this beloved hymn, as we finally end our Advent journey to welcome Christ the Savior on this Christmas Day!On behalf of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Merry Christmas to all!
Fr. Anthony Gramlich reflects on one of the deepest mysteries of our faith: how the Passion of Jesus was both the worst and the greatest moment of His earthly life. From a human standpoint, it was agony, humiliation, and death. From a divine standpoint, it was perfect love poured out — the very reason He came into the world. As Archbishop Fulton Sheen said, Jesus is the only person ever born with the mission to die, and to die for us.
