All In for Christ: The Faith of St. Thomas

Though Thomas is often remembered for his doubt, Fr. Chris reminded us that once Thomas encountered the Risen Christ, he was completely transformed. His disbelief became a gift for the faith of generations, because through his encounter with the wounds of Jesus, Thomas gave one of the clearest proclamations of Christ’s divinity. Fr. Chris also shared how St. Thomas became a courageous missionary, bringing Christianity to India centuries before it reached many parts of Europe. Fr. Daniel Klimek’s homily presents St. Maximilian Kolbe as a fearless missionary of the Immaculate, whose deep love for the Blessed Virgin Mary gave him the courage to defend the Catholic faith, evangelize those opposed to the Church, and remain faithful even through persecution, brutality, and death at Auschwitz. From his encounters with atheists, Freemasons, and unbelievers to his work with magazines, radio, and new technology, Kolbe understood that Christians are called not to retreat from the world, but to enter it with truth, charity, and a desire for conversion.
