Join Br. Matthew, MIC, as he reflects on the life and legacy of St. Martin de Porres. Born in Lima, Peru, St. Martin faced social and racial hardship from an early age. Trained as a barber-surgeon, he eventually joined the Dominican Priory of the Holy Rosary, embracing a life of humble service, deep prayer, and extraordinary charity.

Known as the "Saint of the Broom," he dedicated himself to caring for the poor, the sick, and even animals. His feast day is celebrated on November 3.
