Saint Bernadette was born into a loving family that lived at a mill until they fell on hard times. She was a small girl but was loved dearly and she was brought up in the faith. This year, 2022, the Marians of the Immaculate Conception are celebrating our 25-year anniversary in Steubenville, Ohio! From humble beginnings. In August 1997, Father Joe Roesch, then Brothers Donald Calloway and John Larson, and postulant Pat Norris were truly pioneers as they were the first members of the Marians of the Immaculate Conception to open a Marian house in Steubenville, Ohio. Father Joe is now the Vicar General of the Marian Congregation and lives in Rome, Italy.

Father Joe Roesch unpacks the Angel of Fatima's directive to the visionaries to continually offer up  prayers and sacrifices to God. For us, prayers and sacrifices can have infinite value so long as they are united with love and a desire to fulfill the will of God.
