Anthony Gramlich highlights Advent as a penitential season of preparation for Christ's threefold coming — His Incarnation, His Second Coming, and His entry into hearts through prayer and the Sacraments — emphasizing penance, hope, and devotion to Mary as key elements in preparing for Christmas with faith, joy, and peace.
