Father Anthony reflects on Romans 7:4–25 — St. Paul’s honest confession of the battle within the human heart, where the desire to do good is real, yet the weakness of sin still pulls us away from God, revealing that we cannot save ourselves by willpower alone, but must surrender to the grace of Jesus Christ, who frees us from the slavery of sin, strengthens us in our struggle, and leads us from frustration and self-reliance into the mercy, victory, and new life of the Spirit.
