The Gaze of Mercy
Father Anthony reflects on 2 Corinthians 3:16–18 — St. Paul’s beautiful reminder that when we turn our hearts toward the Lord, the veil that keeps us from seeing Him clearly is removed, inviting us to experience the freedom that comes from the Holy Spirit and to allow God’s presence to transform us from within; as we encounter the glory of Christ through prayer, Scripture, the sacraments, and the life of faith, the Lord patiently shapes us more and more into His image, teaching us that holiness is not achieved in a single moment, but through a lifelong journey of grace in which the Spirit continually renews our hearts and draws us closer to the person God created us to become.
