Forgiveness is Mercy

Father Anthony reflects on Romans 11:32 — St. Paul’s beautiful proclamation that God has permitted all to experience the reality of sin so that He might show mercy to all, inviting us to recognize that no one is beyond the reach of His compassion and that His desire is always to forgive, restore, and draw every soul into communion with Him; even when we are burdened by our failures, ashamed of our past, or tempted to believe that God has given up on us, the Lord continues to pursue us with unfailing mercy, teaching us to place our confidence not in our own righteousness, but in His infinite love that never ceases to seek our salvation.
