Rwanda is a beautiful small mountainous country in Africa that is called the “Switzerland of Africa.” The genocide happened in 1994 in a war between the Hutus and the Tutsi tribes. The population was 7 million at the time, and in four months over a million people were killed.
In the early 1980’s, the Blessed Mother appeared as a servant of the Lord to several Rwandan children and foretold a “river of blood.” She said the people must stop fighting and turn back to God or there would be bloodshed.
The apparitions are approved by the Catholic Church as authentic.
It was for the entire world and we must repent and convert and choose God over our sinful ways. We all need to be apostles of mercy and live these words and not just speak them, for the “harvest is great but the workers few” (Matt 9:37).
