The Jubilee Year of Hope

The Jubilee Year, dedicated to the virtue of hope, was inaugurated by Pope Francis on Christmas Eve with the opening of the Holy Door in St. Peter's Basilica. But what is a jubilee, a tradition in the Catholic Church that dates back to the Old Testament? Father Andy Davy, MIC, explains, and reveals why this Jubilee Year is a cause for celebration. Then hear the amazing story of Jason Brown, a professional NFL football player, on why he gave up fame and fortune to make God the center of his life while serving others.

Watch Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and the Marian Fathers and Brothers from the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy on our weekly show, "Living Divine Mercy," airing on EWTN every Wednesday at 6:30 pm ET, with an encore presentation on Mondays at 9:00 am ET.  Through teaching segments, Bible and St. Faustina Diary excerpts, as well as real-life examples of people who are living Divine Mercy in their lives, you will learn why Jesus said Divine Mercy is mankind's last hope of salvation!
