This so-called Rapture is often portrayed, especially by Protestants, as a moment when faithful Christians suddenly disappear from earth and are taken up into Heaven, while the rest of the world is left behind to face a time of terrible tribulation.But what does the Bible and the Catholic Church really teach about this?
