Faith and Mental Health

All of us, at one time or another, have struggled either spiritually, emotionally or physically, and this affects our mental health. Mental health actually means the ability for our minds to grasp the truth as it actually is. This is where our faith comes in. Father Thaddaeus Lancton, MIC, explains how we can use Jesus as the perfect model for strong mental health. Then hear the story of Sister Rita Clare of the Franciscan Sisters who had a calling from God, but wasn't quite sure, so she turned to her faith to strengthen her mental health and see the clarity of God's will.

Watch Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and the Marian Fathers and Brothers from the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy on our weekly show, "Living Divine Mercy," airing on EWTN every Wednesday at 6:30 pm ET, with an encore presentation on Mondays at 9:00 am ET.  Through teaching segments, Bible and St. Faustina Diary excerpts, as well as real-life examples of people who are living Divine Mercy in their lives, you will learn why Jesus said Divine Mercy is mankind's last hope of salvation!
